And just like that, we are in lockdown again. The second wave of the pandemic has brought the country to a standstill, and as a preventive measure, many states have announced a complete lockdown. You cannot visit your favourite restaurants with friends and while away your time. No breakfast dates either, which also means – no waffles! Waffles have grown immensely popular among the youth of the country. A Belgian waffle is essentially a flat cake made with flour, with large square indentations. These waffles are served crisp with a variety of toppings. Chocolate, honey, cream, maple syrup, ice cream, chicken – you can throw anything on top of your waffle and end up with a winner at hand. We know you are missing your waffles a lot, which is why we bring to you an easy-peasy recipe for Belgian waffle. Trust us, it is so easy, that once you make it at home you may not want to have one from outside.
