Kangana takes another swipe at Thackerays

Kangana Ranaut may have left Mumbai city and headed back home to Manali, but her war of words with the Maharashtra government continues. In her latest swipe at Maharashtra CM, Uddhav Thackeray, the actress claimed that the “basic problem” he and his political party had with her, was that she exposed the movie mafia and drug racket in Bollywood.

“Basic problem of Maharashtra CM is why I exposed movie mafia, murderers of SSR and its drug racket, who his beloved son Aaditya Thakeray hangs out with,” She said in her tweet.

She went on to challenge the ruling state government saying, “This is my big crime so now they want to fix me, ok try, let’s see who fixes who!!!”

After her highly publicised and dramatic visit to Mumbai, the actress flew out to Manali on Monday Monring. In her parting note to the city, the actress said, “must say my analogy about POK was bang on.”

On Wednesday, the BMC demolished portions of the actress’ Mumbai office, citing ‘illegal alterations’ in their notice. However, these claims were refuted by the actress, saying that she had all the necessary documents and approvals from the civic body to make the alterations in her premises.

Meanwhile, Thackeray on Sunday issued a stern warning to the opposition parties said that one day he will remove the ‘mask’ he wears as Chief Minister and speak on the politics being played and the conspiracy hatched to defame the state of Maharashtra.

The CM addressed the public in the backdrop of political allegations by the BJP over the demolition of Ranaut’s office space and the handling of actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case by the Mumbai Police.

“If I have not been speaking on the issue, that does not mean that I don’t have answers. But being the CM, I have to respect the chair,” he added.
